Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington Paquin was able to make her acting debut playing Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she was awarded an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress aged 11 years old, making her the second youngest winner at the age of 11 in Oscar history. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th of July in 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actress from New Zealand who, when she was a young girl was awarded the Academy Award in 1993 for the most outstanding actor supporting. She played the rebellious girl who played Holly Hunter's role in The Piano. Paquin was Frankie Addams in a 1997 film adaptation for television of the novel written by Carson McCullers The Member of the Wedding and had a minor role as Queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). In addition, she was a teenager as teens in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon(1999) as well as Almost Famous (2000). Also, she played the character Polexia Aphrodisa.
