Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a performer from Newark New Jersey on the 9th August, 1963. Their parents include gospel superstars Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) as well as John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick also sings. The singer began her singing career in the choir at the church she attended The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood and by the age of 15 was singing backing vocals professionally alongside the mother of her on Chaka Khan's 1978 smash Im Every Woman. She then went on to join the backing vocals of Lou Rawls and Jermaine and even her mother. In 1981, she began to work as a vocalist with New York's funk band Material. The band's quality vocal performance with this group that caught the attention of record label including Arista. The debut Whitney Houston album was released in the year 1985. It would become one of the top-selling albums of an artist. On the album, she released several hit singles such as Saving All My Love for You How Do You Know You're a Good Person And The More Love of All. This helped her achieve seven US number one hits consecutively. She beat even the Beatles. The album came out in 1987 and has sold more than 25 million copies around the world. The 1987 follow-up album Whitney that included hits What Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was 1992's film The Bodyguard (1992) that sealed her place as one of the most successful artists in history. Although the film and her performance on screen were not widely praised the soundtrack album and her version of Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made charts for albums and singles for months, and was sold at 44 million copies all over the globe. In the same year, she was married to Bobby Brown who was a ex- New Edition singer. She had their sole daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown in March 1993. At this point, her documented drug use started and in 1996, Bobbi Kristina Brown was using drugs daily.
Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz in the way she's popularly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter, as well as CNN's political correspondent. She has created shows for the network, such as Evans & Novak' Late Editionand Inside Politics'. Bash has been awarded the Women in Washington Power List honor from Elle magazine.
