Tracy Spiridakos has been nominated for most outstanding Actress on Television by the post-apocalyptic science-fiction show on NBC called Revolution. Spiridakos is the daughter of parents who are Greek. She was born in Winnipeg Manitoba. Her family lived in the Greek town located in Skala (near Sparta) when Spiridakos was just four years older. After nine years old, they moved to Canada. She has a deep connection to her Greek heritage, and is fluent in Greek at a high level. In 2000 she received her diploma from Oak Park High School. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver for acting work in 2007. Within weeks she had been offered her first television appearance. It was a minor part in the show Supernatural. After a few years of doing TV work, she was offered her first part as a starring role in Majority Rules in 2009. In 2011, she made her debut as a feature film with Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
